Buying a burr grinder: start with your coffee, then the adjustment
For espresso, prioritize useful fine adjustment and a repeatable dose. For filter coffee, prioritize straightforward settings, suitable batch capacity, and easy cleanup. If you brew both, verify that you can return to a setting without a frustrating reset. Burr shape alone cannot choose the grinder for you.
